Great location near shopping and restaurants, spacious and comfortable suite, responsive housekeeping, openable windows for fresh air.
Felt privileged, no complaints whatsoever.

I booked a 2-bedroom suite and was disappointed to find that one of the bedrooms had no door. This lack of privacy was frustrating and impacted our trip. The management's response was unhelpful, and the customer service was lacking. I'll recommend this hotel.

the gale's location is amazing - right behind the john hancock building off of michigan ave - making it super convenient for exploring the city. we also found some reasonably priced parking lots nearby. the staff is really pleasant, and there's a lovely cafe in the lobby for a quick coffee and pastry in the morning.
Would be happy to recommend!

My stay at the hotel was quite enjoyable. The location was spectacular, right in the heart of the city surrounded by luxury hotel brands. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a big, comfy bed. The staff at the front desk were wonderful and the little coffee shop in the lobby was a nice touch. The Italian restaurant connected to the hotel was fantastic, offering delicious food and a great ambience. my experience was positive.
The hotel rooms were a bit dreary, with dark walls covered in anaglypta. The shower setup was a bit inconvenient, as it was a rain shower with no way to avoid getting your hair wet.

we had a great time at Gale. comfortable bed, spacious room with small fridge and microwave, and a splendid terrace at Drumbar. the staff was very welcoming and helpful, accommodating our early arrival and providing directions. Conveniently located just a block away from the magnificent mile shopping area and restaurants. the room was quiet and relaxing despite the busy surroundings. We will definitely come back next year.
